Dragon Page Brought Beautiful Music and Magic to CIAC Christmas Charity Dinner, Marking the Launch of the First UK Chinese Charity LotteryLondon, 5 December: Dragon Page together with over 200 friends and colleagues celebrated an early Christmas in style at the CIAC charity dinner last night which also marked the launch of the first UK Chinese charity lottery. It wanted to thank all guests for sharing a beautiful evening and their generous support to the charity. Big thanks go to the following five special guests; a young talented magician Daniel Brookes, and 4 other remarkable Chinese musicians, namely Jenny Ng (pianist), Kelly Xiao (GuZheng player), Kitty Cheung (violinist), and Timothy Sun (saxophonist), for their wonderful performance at the event.Julius Tsui, the Founder and CEO of Dragon Page said, ‘we are lucky to have found these talents. We are also very proud to see them stepping out and meeting more people from our society.’ Dragon Page met Daniel Brookes through his father Bob Brookes who participated in a golf tournament of the UK East Anglia Chinese Golf Association ( www.eacgolf.co.uk ) in October, while the four musicians were found via Dragon Page’s own website. Earlier last month, Dragon Page offered to build professional websites for any Chinese musicians in the UK for free. The feedback is clearly encouraging. There were big smiles on the pianist Miss Jenny Ng’s face at end of the event. ‘I am sure the other three musicians will join me in saying that we were extremely excited to be here on this beautiful stage at China Boulevard Chinese Restaurant tonight to share our music with so many friends of CIAC and to mark this special charity occasion. This is truly a unique opportunity we are grateful for, and hopefully more to come!’ said Jenny. Likewise, Dragon Page is hoping to see many more of these talents performing at other charity events in the near future. However, there will be no magic without your participation and generosity. Please stay tuned!
