Mr Julius Tsui, founder and CEO of Dragon Page said ‘We all are involved in globalisation these days although we may not realise it. Now is the time for us to smarten up, and learn to communicate more efficiently and effectively. We at Dragon Page are prepared to standby our fellow Chinese, and fill the technology gap which exists at most Chinese organisations today. We want to become the preferred technology partner of the Chinese community in the UK.’ Dragon Page has also announced that it will provide FREE access to its technology platform and services to all registered Chinese charities, non-profit organisations, and Chinese students’ societies at schools/universities in the UK. Tsui continued, ‘We believe this is the best way for us to contribute and give back to the Chinese community here. Like most Chinese SMEs, the majority of Chinese charities do not have online presence, so not many people are aware of their existence or what they offer and how they contribute to the UK society. We want to facilitate an online platform for all Chinese charities, such as CIAC, to be known in the community, and consequently allow more people to access the benefits from the services they provide. We expect that a well-designed online presence will in return increase their chance of receiving the emotional and financial support they deserve.’ The CEO of CIAC, Mr Kam-Sang Law, welcomed Dragon Page’s initiative and generosity. ‘Having a professionally designed website will reinvigorate our Centre and undoubtedly other Chinese charities which also have limited resources or little access to technology. It will accelerate and broaden the scope of our contribution to the Chinese community and ultimately allow us to make significant and positive contribution to the UK society and economy.” said Law. The 3-hour long canal cruise today between Little Venice and Camden has been warmly supported by many individuals and organisations from the Chinese community in the UK. All tickets were completely sold out weeks ahead of the event! Ends.
