I need to improve my small farm so my children do not have to travel outside the community to look for work, and can return home and attend school again. I grow rice and raise chickens to support my five children and one other dependant. I also grow beans. But I had to borrow from a local moneylender to get my farm going, and the interest rates are so high that I am left with hardly enough to feed us all - and not enough to let my children attend classes.

A World Vision micro loan will enable me to buy fertilizer and pesticides to boost my harvest, and some chickens to fatten up for sale. It will also allow me to escape the crippling interest rates charged by the local moneylenders and rent more land for rice growing. The increased income will allow me to send my children back to school, to feed them a nutritious diet and to improve our family's quality of life. It will be great to have the family all together again too. In the long term I plan to save up to open a grocery shop at home, to improve my children's prospects so they do not have to leave the country to find work when they finish school.

I need to expand my small poultry and piggery business so I can pay to send my children to school. I live in Cebu province with my husband, who's a carpenter, and two children - one in high school and one in primary. I also have two other dependants. I raise pigs and chickens to help our family get by.

A World Vision micro loan will enable me to expand my pig and chicken raising business. The loan will go towards buying more feed for the animals. The extra income that comes in from selling them will be used to pay for the tuition fees and materials necessary to keep my children in education.

I need to develop my small farm into a sustainable livelihood for my six children. But my hard work is not enough. Will you help me?

A World Vision Microloan would enable me to buy an ox to speed up the ploughing and the harvest. The increased income from a larger yield will go towards giving my family a better quality of life and a more nutritious diet. In the long term, I plan to save up to open a grain store to make us more financially secure for the future.

I sell coffee and raise chickens to support my four children and one other dependant. Unfortunately my chickens are falling victim to illness because I cannot afford to give them good quality feed. Can you help me?

A World Vision Microloan would enable me to buy good quality feed to ensure my chickens grow fat and healthy for sale. The increased income will go towards giving my family a better quality of life and paying for my children to go to school.

I grow rice and lotus grain and I also raise pigs to support my family. I have six children, five of whom still depend on me. But I need your help so that I can afford to send them to school.

I need to expand my small farm so I can support my three children. I grow rice and vegetables. I also cultivate papaya trees too. But it is all very small scale and I cannot afford to increase my output.

A World Vision micro loan will enable me to buy fertilizer so I can maximise my productivity. The increased income will go towards giving my family a more nutritious diet and a better living standard. In the long term I hope to expand my small farm so that I can take on two assistants and thereby create job opportunities for other people in my community.
